I joined the new media department in 2011 as a temp before becoming a full-time employee.  Introduced social media management platforms, digital marketing plans, and analytical reports to the company. I performed a detailed evaluation of company social media accounts, identifying opportunities to reach customers. I worked with senior leadership to identify KPIs for social media and digital channels. I designed print advertisements and signage for events in promoting digital channels. I Filmed and edited video content for social media channels, using stage lighting, professional audio/camera equipment, and Adobe Creative Suite for editing.

  • Managed several projects including the development of video assets with outside vendors, the setup and operation of LED video boards at events, mobile app development, and more.

Founded Pinstriped Prospects in 2014 as a website to provide independent coverage of the New York Yankees minor league system.  Crafted partnerships with the Staten Island Yankees, Gotham Baseball magazine, YES Network, and others.  Utilized partnerships to produce short, animated videos and on-screen graphics for use on in-stadium video screens for the Staten Island Yankees.  Created news and statistical videos for use on social media and website.  Provided photographs for use on MiLB.com; SIYanks.com; and across social media platforms.  Produced live video streaming during pre-season and post-game press conferences in the stadium.  Provided historical content to Staten Island Yankees as part of a content-sharing partnership.  Facilitated live in-person and over-the-phone interviews with players, coaches, scouts, and other personnel.  Worked with sports agents and PR contacts to coordinate interviews and player stories.

Created and managed a comprehensive editorial calendar.  Built a strong team, including over 14 writers, editors, photographers, and videographers.  Fostered relationships with New York Yankees minor league affiliates from rookie level to Triple-A, Yankees player development department, and Major League Baseball.

  • Built a team of 10-15 people and mentored them to help develop their skills in writing, interviewing design, and photography.
  • Developed paid social media advertising campaigns on Facebook and Twitter, resulting in 20% increase in page views.

Designed and edited graphics for use on the website and in the print magazine. Coordinated with the editor on the daily management of the social media accounts for both Gotham Baseball and Baseball Digest.

Written, designed, and edited a print publication for the 2008 and 2009 seasons (three issues total).
